What is the ERAI?
ERAI Inc. is a global information service providing supply chain risk mitigation solutions to its many members around the world, including the world’s largest searchable database of counterfeit components and high-risk suppliers. At the same time, the company, founded in 1995, helps monitor supply chains, which leads to the prevention of losses on the supplier and customer side and massively reduces risk. A special service is offered for suspected counterfeit components, high-priced components and non-standard products, which at the same time means that dubious suppliers and customers can be identified more quickly.
The company also offers training to identify counterfeits as accurately and effectively as possible and to internalize quality standards.
ComSIT GmbH has been a member of ERAI since 1999.

COGD (Component Obsolescence Group Germany)
What is the COGD?
The Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland (COGD) e.V. is an interest group that deals with the management of obsolescence. Obsolescence occurs when modern high-tech components are quickly replaced by incompatible successors, while long-lasting products are needed in industries such as aerospace, military and rail technology. The aim of COGD is to minimize or prevent the consequences of the unavailability of components.
